Inner Nordhavn is a special place that is constantly undergoing major changes, both with small-scale developments and the very large master plans for the entire Nordhavn area. The immediate context is a charming jumble of self-built structures, workshops and shipping containers. The new church must write itself into this narrative while being entirely its own. Today, the area is a bit raw in expression and exposed to wind and weather, the church must offer a warm and safe place where you can seek shelter and new communities.
